Angling on Public & Private Waters
Depending on season, weather and your preferences we’ll meet up at our tasting room in Yountville and caravan to our fishing destination. The world class Putah Creek is one option. Our guides have decades of experience catching selective Brown trout up to 6 pounds and Rainbows to 7 pounds. Additionally, no matter the season and water levels, we have exclusive access to a network of rural ponds and lakes where trophy Trout and Bass are eager to attack your flies.

Certified Guides & Instructors
Whether you are just beginning or have decades of fly fishing experience, we offer guides and instructors with decades of experience to ensure an informative and memorable time on the water. Beginners will be paired with Federation of Fly Fishers (FFF) certified fly casting instructor/guides who will teach you the basic fly fishing skills that last a lifetime. More advanced fishers will be provided with just enough instruction to ensure you are casting for trophies within minutes of arriving to the water’s edge.

Mid-Day Meal
For lunch (if you can get yourself to set down your fly rod) you will be provided with a very nice catered lunch at the water’s edge with food prepared from scratch by Dean & DeLuca and Oakville Grocery.

VIP Wine Tasting
We’ve always said that our wines are best paired with fine food and recollections from your day on the water. To culminate the day’s fishing adventure we’ll return you safely to Yountville for a VIP tasting of the complete StoneFly Vineyards wine library. As you sip, you’ll learn key aspects of the viticulture, winemaking and community involvement that makes our winery the only winery in the world to truly pair ultra-premium wines with service to the tradition of fly fishing.
